Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
What We Are Doing
- Using clear page structure with headings so content is easier to scan and navigate
- Labelling form fields so they work with screen readers
- Writing in plain language
- Adding text descriptions (alt text) to images across the site
- Labelling icon links, such as our social media icons, so screen readers announce them clearly
- Reviewing new pages and content for accessibility before they go live
- Testing the site regularly and fixing issues as we find them
Known Limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work, and some parts of this site do not yet fully meet our standard. We are currently working on:
- Improving heading structure on a few pages
Some content comes from third party services, such as our booking calendar, podcast players and social media platforms. We cannot fully control the accessibility of those services, but we are happy to help you another way if one of them does not work for you.
